PROCESSION: Crowds watch the parade through Longridge
POLICE said there was no repeat of the disorder which marred last year’s Longridge Field Day at the weekend’s event.
Four people were arrested and 20 drunken revellers told to leave the festival, which officers said helped keep a lid on any trouble.
Thousands of people enjoyed the family fun on Saturday as a result.
And there were plenty of wacky and wonderful costumes on show to entertain those who gathered along the field day route.
