DOZENS of stolen items are to be returned to their owners after police officers uncovered a hidden stash.
Officers raided an Oswaldtwistle address following information from the community, leading to the find of £500 worth of goods, which police think are linked to more than ten burglaries of sheds and outhouses.
Around 30 items were found, including pressure washers, barbecues, gazebos, tents, and tools.
Sgt Simon Lynch praised neighbourhood officers CBM Kat Stokes and PCSO Rikky Gallacher, responsible for the find. A man has been arrested and released on police bail.
Police say some items found have not been reported stolen and are urging homeowners to check their sheds and get in touch on 01254 353103.
