Ex-Stranglers star Hugh Cornwell is back on the road with a full band for his Dirty Dozen tour, and they'll be programming the SatNav on the tour bus to arrive in Preston on October 21.
The tour coincides with the release of the Dirty Dozen live album, which features his version of some classic Stranglers tracks like Hanging Around, No More Heroes, Walk On By.
Cornwell spent 17 years as the lead singer and main songwriter in The Stranglers, who released quirky punk classics like Nice n' Sleazy, Peaches and Golden Brown.
But he has now been a solo artist for almost as long 16 years so far and has branched out beyond the confines of pubnk.
He frequently strips things down for acoustic shows and he's penned an autobiography, though he also frequently returns to more familiar rock territory, including a massive tour with Blondie last year.
Hugh Cornwell plays 53 Degrees in Preston on October 21. Tickets £13.
