Lana’s dance fever heats up

A Chorley dancer has reached the semi-finals of the prime-time Saturday evening BBC show, Strictly Dance Fever.

Lana Williams, 20, who grew up in Astley Village, and her partner, Darren Bailey, have wowed judges for the last seven weeks with their energetic routines.

Lana, who attended Buckshaw Primary School and St Michael's High, is being cheered on each week by mother Gill, sister Helena, 23 and brother Karl, 24, who still live in Astley Village.

The winners will be announced on June 3.
