Hyndbuen MP Greg Pope today criticised the BBC for seeking a large increase in the licence fee while paying inflated salaries to some of its presenters.
Mr Pope said: "The BBC licence fee is in danger of becoming a poll tax on television and I am far from happy that BBC bosses seem to be seeking yet another rise in the fee when I am far from convinced they are spending their current budget wisely."
