A thief was back in court five days after getting a suspended jail term for stealing a pensioner's wallet.
David Shapcott, 27, of Kime Street, Burnley, was last Friday given a 120-day jail term, suspended for a year, with 12 months supervision, a nine months drug rehabilitation requirement and the Think First programme.
Yesterday he appeared before Burnley magistrates again after admitting another theft.
He was given a 12 months conditional discharge and the bench made a new order, extending the drug rehabilitation to 12 months.
