HYNDBURN environmen-tal charity, the Prospects Foundation, will be showing people how to create a wildflower meadow in their neighbourhoods at a special training day.
It will go ahead at Haworth Park, off Hollins Lane, Accrington, on Saturday, May 13, from 10am to 4pm.
Organiser Ian Plested said: "Our wildflower meadows have drastically declined since the Second World War, mainly due to intensive farming and urbanisation.
"Bringing back wildflower meadows into our neighbourhoods can create a wonderful display, and support important birdlife and insects."
