AN East Lancashire girl is living the dream of millions of female fans by dancing on stage with Take That.

Collette Morrow today admitted it was the best job of her life.

The 26-year-old, who went to Blackpool and Fylde college to study musical theatre, is one of the acrobatic backing dancers following Mark Owen, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange around the country as part of the group's sell-out UK and Ireland tour.

Screaming fans of the one-time teenage heart-throbs who have been lucky enough to get tickets for one of their shows can cast an envious eye on stage to see Collette dancing the tango with Mark.

She said: "I'm really enjoying the dancing and I'm enjoying Take That's music.

"They're really lovely boys. I like all of them. They're all really nice and down to earth. The whole team is really good to work with.

"I dance with Mark Owen in one section doing the Tango. It's great fun and one of the most enjoyable jobs I've ever done in my life."

Collette, of Barrowford, who has one brother, Matthew, who works for British Airways in London, joined dozens of performers at the Millennium Dome in 1999.

And she has just spent the last three-and-a-half years with Canadian-based circus troupe Cirque du Soleil touring North America and Europe. It was after freelance work in London and a brief spell in Austria performing at the renowned Bregenz Festival that she was snapped up to join the boys.

She said: "I wanted a change, with Cirque du Soleil we were doing the same show every day. I thought I'd go to London and take on some freelance work.

"The agency I work with called me and said they wanted me to do a private audition.

"There was only so many people invited. It went well and they liked me so they asked me to go back for a second audition and I got a place. I'm really happy."

Collette has performed in Newcastle, Birmingham, Sheffield and Glasgow and she admitted it was a tough schedule.
