A dancer has beaten off tough competition from more than 80,000 twinkle-toes hopefuls to become part of the ten final couples on an national television show.
Lana Williams, 20, and partner, Darren Bailey, will now go head-to-head with nine other couples in the final stages of the prime-time Saturdat evening BBC show, Strictly Dance Fever.
Lana, from Astley Village, near Leyland, who attended the Carol May School of Dance, Lune Street, Preston, eventually hopes to teach dance.
