ACCRINGTON Stanley have put the ball in Blackpool's court after Rory Prendergast's trial with the Seasiders ended at the weekend.
Blackpool boss Colin Hendry suggested he was keen to sign the Reds left winger after he impressed on their pre-season tour of Scotland.
But Hendry has not yet made contact with Stanley chairman Eric Whalley to negotiate a deal for Prendergast, who still has 12 months to run on his contract.
"I haven't heard anything from Blackpool since they asked initially to take him on trial," said Whalley.
"He won't be going anywhere until Blackpool come and speak to me.
"I can assure you there will be no deal until there has been a discussion between myself and Karl Oyston."
Prendergast failed to return to training with Stanley on Monday after his trial ended.
Whalley added: "He'll be getting a slap on the wrist for that."
