OFFICE furniture group Calderburn has announced the appointment of Christopher Moore as deputy chairman.
The firm, created by the merger of East Lancashire's Alan Cooper and Mayfield companies, has also named Oliver Chapple, currently chief executive of Volex group, as a non-executive director.
Mr Moore, 50, is chairman of Fleming Ventures Ltd and will take over when Jim Blyth Currie retires next April.
Two stepping down from the board are Michael Hallmark, 49, and Gerard Priest, 61, who will continue with their respective roles as managing director of Unit Press Ltd and group company secretary.
