AS chairman of the Blackpool Friends of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund I would like to encourage members of the local community to take part in a sponsored abseil to help raise desperately needed funds for cancer research.
The abseil is on Sunday, November 19, from the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, and will be great fun for everyone who takes part.
It has the bonus of helping to find cures for cancer and saving more lives.
