LANCASHIRE's favourite plumber James Hargreaves has been carrying on a family trade that is 148 years old.
Mr Hargreaves, 60, of Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth, was nominated for the title of Lancashire's favourite by his cust- omers.
And he is one of six going forward to a national final and a chance to win a dream holiday in Chicago.
He began working in the family firm when he was 15 and is now self- employed.
His wife Elizabeth said: "He has always put his customers first and he is very pleased to win the title because it is his customers who have nominated him for the honour."
