PRESTON get back to Deepdale on Saturday for a showdown with Bury that must produce three points for PNE - and a morale-boosting performance in front of goal.

Last season's encounter saw North End smash five past a hapless Bury outfit.

This time round, Preston will be happy to hit one and collect three precious promotion points.

Andy Saville hasn't rattled the net since the romp against Cardiff, so he and manager Gary Peters will be praying the stalled striker finds his feet and the net on Saturday.

With Gillingham and Chester both slipping on Saturday, North End need to apply the pressure. It's showtime!

Every game from now on must see PNE chip away at Gillingham's ever-slimming lead.

And that means putting Bury out of the picture.

Back in August, North End travelled to Bury and came away with a point after a scoreless draw.

That's something Gary Peters will be eager to avoid on Saturday.

Preston have drawn far too many games - now it's time to start putting wins together.

North End have the fire-power, there's no doubt about that. Let's start using it!
