STUDENTS from East Lancashire are among 18 county-wide to win Lancashire County Council Languages for Tourism awards.
The scheme aims to encourage people who are at college training to join the tourist industry to become proficient in a foreign language.
Winners, who will receive travel bonds from £50 to £100 are: Nelson and Colne College: Joanne Catlow, Catherine Holgate, Kerry Cooper, Claire Maguire; Accrington and Rossendale College, John Dawson, Lynsey Thornton, Helen Day, Cathy Wright.
