ELDERLY residents of a sheltered housing scheme can enjoy the spring sunshine on a bench donated by the son of a former resident.
Lancashire Evening Telegraph community correspondent Brian Wood donated the garden seat to Holly Court in Troy Street, Blackburn, in memory of his mother Audrey.
She lived at the centre for 12 years before her sudden death in March aged 82.
Mrs Wood was originally from south Manchester and moved to Blackburn when she was 70.
