COMPUTER firm P&P has struck a major deal with retail giant Marks & Spencer.

The Haslingden-based firm will supply a range of information technology products and services including hardware, software and network facilities at the firm's head office as part of a three-year deal.

The firm will also be responsible for on-site installation and maintenance.

And P&P will be involved with supplying computer products for Marks & Spencer's offices nationwide.

The two companies are now working on a detailed plan for the new managed services contract agreement which will be launched in 1996.

"I am delighted to have been awarded this contract which builds on the core strengths of the group and is an excellent fit to our skills, resources and expertise," said David Southworth, group managing director.

"Marks & Spencer is renowned throughout the world for quality and we look forward to achieving similarly high standards across the service we provide to all areas of the organisation."
