CAN you canoe down the canal?
Four friends will be doing so, in a race to raise money for charity at the weekend.
Chris Stanley, his nephew Scott, Judith Barlow and her brother David, will be paddling their Canadian canoe the full length of the Leeds and Liverpool canal.
They are hoping to raise more than £300 for the SuperScan appeal and have already received sponsorship cash from ICI Acrylics' environment group.
