A SCHOOL is just a few hundred pounds away from reaching a target figure for a new mini-bus. Dozens of sponsored events has meant Dame Evelyn Fox special school in Blackburn raising nearly £14,000.
The Variety Club is donating a further £12,000 for the bus. Head Jane Barrie said: "If anyone would like to help us reach the total with just one further push we would be most grateful." It is hoped the mini-bus will be bought for the new term in September.
