RISHTON'S troubled season continued with their match against Burnley rained off and a possible contract wrangle looming with star pro Allan Donald.

A source close to Donald told the Citizen this week, the 29-year-old South African pace bowler was unhappy with the financial situation at the Blackburn Road club.

The Citizen understands Donald is anxious Rishton cannot fulfil his financial demands but this has been refuted by the club.

"There is no legal wrangle with Allan Donald," stated secretary, Stewart Hacking. "He is happy at the club and has signed for the whole season. Despite his foot injury, he is expected to be fit for this weekend and should be available for selection." The South African international pulled out of last Sunday's game against Burnley with a blood poisoned foot. He has rested and is expected to appear against Enfield this Sunday.

Donald is yet to deliver for last season's champions and his commitment to Rishton should be put to the test during a difficult next few weeks.
