SALVATION Army volunteers are rolling up their sleeves to renovate the Citadel in Nelson.
One of their first projects to raise cash is a craft fair on Saturday (June l).
Organisers gathered a wide variety of stalls for the event and hope the sale will provide lots of interest.
Said Mrs Maralyn Davies: "This is a new venture for us as we try to raise money for our building renovation scheme.
"The Citadel, on the corner of Cross Street and Russell Street, is in a very central position in town and we hope a lot of people will call in and see what is on offer."
