REGARDING your report 'Fury Over East 17 Gig' (LET June 21). The date originally earmarked for this concert did not include Brian Harvey in the line-up and any fury that resulted was caused by your interpretation of the facts. Mr Harvey's subsequent re-instatement by the band meant that a number of songs for the forthcoming single and album needed to be re-recorded. As a result, the concert tour involving the other three members of East 17 has been postponed.
It would be for the council to decide whether to accept a booking at King George's Hall for a future East 17 concert which included Brian Harvey. No approach has been made.
