POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an accident at the A6 roundabout with Brownedge Road in which a motorcyclist died.
The man from Mobberley, Cheshire, was on his way home after ordering a new bike, a Ducati, from Bill Head's in Preston.
He collided with a Mercedes on London Way, Bamber Bridge, and was taken to Chorley Hospital suffering serious head and internal injuries but died an hour later.
The crash took place on Sunday (July 6) at around 2.55pm.
