TWO Leigh nursing homes are included in 14 to change hands in a £23 million deal.
The Eton Hall Nursing Homes group - Richmond House nursing home in Mitchell Street, Leigh and the Mayfair House Nursing Home in Nel Pan Lane, Westleigh, Leigh - has been acquired by Nantwich-based Paragon Leased Homes Ltd.
Two other nursing homes were acquired earlier in the year.
The Group, which has been financed by Nursing Home Properties plc, will adopt the Eton Hall name and be managed by a management team led by Sir Jonathan Clark, Clive Maddocks and Diana Cain.
Sir Jonathan said: "The acquisition of Eton Hall is a particularly significant investment for us and now means that we will operate 16 (794 beds) nursing homes throughout the North-west."
