WHAT pleasure can anyone derive from hunting wild animals?

There's nothing random about finding a deer to hunt. A strong, fit animal is carefully selected so the chase will be lengthy.

It can take hours for riders to split it away from the others. And that's before the hunt has even started.

The longer the chase goes on, the more pleasure the hunters get. That's why fox-hounds are chosen for stamina, not speed. They can't run fast enough to catch their quarry. When the fox or deer stops for a rest, the hounds keep on running and begin to close in.

A fox hunt can last two hours or more, and a deer hunt can last all day.

The animal is terrified and in shock. This barbarity and deliberate cruelty must end soon as possible.
