SCIENCE teachers fitted a visit to a factory into their timetables.
VEKA, which manufactures PVC-u window systems at its Burnley factory, hosted a visit by a group of teachers as part of an initiative to strengthen links and between manufacturing industry and education.
VEKA was one of four companies in the North West hosting groups in the visit organised by the PVC department of the Institute of materials.
