EURO MP Mark Hendrick is flying the flag in the Far East for Lancashire's aerospace firms this week.

The Lancashire Central MEP is in Japan with the European Parliament's delegation for relations with Japan.

The delegation has lined up a series of meetings with senior Japanese politicians and business leaders to discuss matters, including the development of the so-called Tiger economies in the Far East.

"These issues affect jobs and the economy in the UK and particularly in Lancashire, where the aerospace sector provides aircraft for the countries in these fast-growing economies."
