I AGREE with Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans (LET, December 23) - the Union Jack should be on the new British driving licence.
What has Europe got to do with it? I am sick of hearing the word.
Europe says we can't do this; Europe says we have to do that. What on earth is happening to this once-proud country?
Is this what we fought two world wars for? I think not.
We don't fly the Union Jack often enough. It should be flown all the time from all our town halls and civic buildings. I dare bet some youngsters don't even know what it is or what it stands for.
