SOLICITOR Val Shaw has been appointed to the Children Panel. It means Val, who works for Cunningham Turner, Blackburn, is now able to act on behalf of children who are the subject of care proceedings in court. Val joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1990 and qualified in 1992.
