THERESA the Coronation Street turkey has come home to roost.
Theresa had been missing for a week after wandering off from animal agent Kevin Horkin's remote Oswaldtwistle farmhouse on to the moors off Haslingden Old Road.
Kevin found the confused bird about a mile away after being tipped off by a jogger.
"She was huddled among some cows in a broken down barn," said Kevin, who supplies animals to television companies.
"She seems to have caught herself on a wire because she had a few feathers missing but she's now having a good rest."
Theresa shot to fame after Coronation Street layabout Les Battersby failed to wring her neck for Christmas, only to accidentally run over her.
Such was the interest in the runaway turkey that Kevin's phone has not stopped ringing since she went AWOL.
