A SEASON of sell-out successes is being celebrated at Burnley Mechanics.
The first three months of 1998 are turning out to be among the best-ever for Burnley Arts and Entertainment Centre, with six separate sell-out performances.
From the Christmas show, A Christmas Carol, to Abba tribute group Voulez Vous, it has been a story of success with demand for tickets going through the roof.
Other top events have been the SNAP Theatre Company production of The Worst Witch, guitarist Antonio Forcione at the popular Stage Door Jazz Club, Steve Harley and Fairport Convention.
The new events brochure has now been published packed with a huge variety of entertainments, arts, crafts and other workshops, and covering March to July.

Highlights include soul and motown music from Edwin Starr, the Big Town Playboys, Royal National Theatre and Kaboodle Theatre Co in Twelfth Night, Amazing Blondel in concert, legendary pianist/singer Buddy Greco, an adult evening with comedian Billy Pearce travelling the universe with astronomer Patrick Moore and details of the 10th anniversary Burnley National Blues Festival.
