I AM trying to contact a friend with whom I served while I was in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, stationed at RAF Credenhill, Hereford, from 1948 to 1950.
She was Doreen Blackburn. I remember she had a brother and the last I heard of her was when she sent some wedding cake to the camp after she married a man who, I believe, was called Ted.
She used to come with me to my home in Barnsley when we were on a weekend pass. I do hope readers can help as I have often thought about her.
