A DOCTOR won a reprieve in his battle to keep his community surgery open.
Dr Gullam Bhatt faced notice to quit his terraced premises in Ryddings Street, Oswaldtwistle, after complaints from neighbours about parking problems in the busy cul-de-sac.
But Hyndburn Council's development committee granted Dr Bhatt temporary planning permission for the premises after reading letters which praised his service to the community.
