CORRIE Jordaan has agreed terms to return for a second season as Rishton professional next summer.

The South African spinner has taken 60 wickets so far in a rain-ruined season, following his 100-wicket haul for Lowerhouse last year.

Rishton chairman Rod Simpson said: "We have a verbal agreement on terms and we are now having a contract drawn up.

"We are quite happy with Corrie's performances with the ball. That is what we signed him for and he has done the job for us.

"If there are any perceived weaknesses in our amateur line-up that is up to us to sort out. Our captain Russell Whalley was particularly keen for us to re-sign Corrie."
