VISITORS to careers guidance centres are in safe hands!
Staff at the Inform centres - set up in East Lancashire to provide training, education and employment advice - have been awarded NVQ qualifications.
The centres were launched last year by ELTEC in partnership with colleges, training providers the East Lancashire Careers Service and local Access Points.
They have already helped thousands of local people find out about job, training and employment opportunities.
The NVQs gained by staff at centres in Accrington, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley and Nelson, were in information, advice and guidance.
