HOME secretary Jack Straw heard the views of ordinary Labour members when he visited Bury.
Mr Straw came to Bury College for a meeting of the party's regional policy forum, set up by the Government to help gauge opinion and formulate party policy. Around 80 members attended the conference which was held on Saturday.
Working groups have been given four areas to discuss: crime, welfare, the health service and Europe.
