A NEW chairman is at the helm of discount department store group T J Hughes.
The chain, which has a major store in Blackburn and is soon to open one in Burnley, has announced David Winterbottom is to take over from Eric Hodges from January next year.
Mr Winterbottom has been deputy chairman of the Liverpool-based store group since April 1996. He also holds a number of other directorships.
