CAR showroom group Sanderson Bramall, which owns a string of dealerships in East Lancashire, has announced record financial results.
The firm, which recently bought the Cowie Ford Dealership in Blackburn and also operates a Ford dealership in Burnley and the Westwood Mercedes garage in Rishton, saw pre-tax profits leap to just over £8 million for the first half of the year.
Chairman Tony Bramall said current trading at the group was good.
"At the beginning of August our order take for new car sales is similar to last year and we have every expectation for a very good month."
Turnover of the Harrogate-based group increased by 32 per cent to £424 million.
