CARE assistant Sharon Hampson went straight to work after her wedding!
She married James Mark O'Connor at St Richard's RC Church in Atherton. And, following their nuptials, the couple, from Rowland Street South, Atherton, went to Sharon's workplace - Chanters Nursing Home - to show off her wedding dress.
The happy couple are pictured sharing a toast with the home's longest-married couple, James and Ellen Elliott, who wed in 1936.
