A HAPPY holiday in Morocco turned into a nightmare for an East Lancashire man who was mistakenly jailed after being mistaken for an international criminal.
Michael Hilton, 31, of Blackburn, was locked up for four days in a tiny cell while police officers tried to extradite him to Belgium, a country he had never visited.
Interpol said Mr Hilton was an innocent victim of someone using a forged passport in his name.
