A WOMAN had her handbag stolen by two girls while she was visiting St Helens Crematorium.
The woman and a friend were sitting on a bench in the Rainford Road crematorium at about 3.15pm on Saturday, July 25 when they were distracted by a bee. The woman got up, leaving her bag on the bench and two girls came up, snatched the bag and ran off with it.
Both girls were white and aged between 20-25. The bag snatcher was slim and about 5ft 4ins tall with dark hair. Call 0151 777 6850 with information.
