ELDERLY folk and large families were due to move into new homes in the Brookhouse area of Blackburn.
An £870,000 complex with 16 one bedroomed flats and 10 family houses was opened by Blackburn housing chairman Andy Kay.
They were built by Northern Counties Housing Association in Partnership with Blackburn Council and the Housing Corporation.
