I WOULD like to sincerely thank the honest person who handed in my watch which I lost in the South Stand at the recent Bury FC home game against Crystal Palace.
I did not expect to see my watch again so I was delighted to learn at the following home match against Barnsley that it had been handed in.
The honest fan did not leave his name so if he makes himself known to me at the next home game on Bank Holiday Monday - I will be in my usual seat G101 - then a couple of drinks would be the least I could offer to repay his honesty.
