THE Mayor of Hyndburn, Coun Sonia Bramley-Haworth, opened the Inland Revenue's new headquarters in Accrington.
Castle House, a three-storey office block at Eastgate, was opened as part of a nationwide plan to improve service and increase efficiency.
It brought the work of tax offices in Accrington and Blackburn under one roof.
