RISHTON are still expecting Corrie Jordaan to play as their overseas signing this summer, despite reports from South Africa that he won't be returning to Lancashire.
Jordaan was re-engaged by Rishton after taking 79 Lancashire League wickets last season in his first summer at Blackburn Road after moving from Lowerhouse.
There have been suggestions that the left-arm spinner has taken a job as a groundsman in South Africa.
But Rishton secretary Rod Simpson said: "I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and there were no problems.
"As far as we are aware, although you never actually know until someone steps off the plane, he is coming back."
