HOW is it that when we get something good in the town someone comes along and spoils it?

When the new market hall was opened, we were very pleased to welcome and fully appreciate the ten feel wide shopping aisles.

We are now very disappointed to note the encroachment steadily being made in to the aisles by some stallholders.

Just take note the next time you visit the market. Some stallholders are displaying goods three feet in to this walking space and, where the stalls are opposite each other, this leaves only four feet of passageway for shoppers. In other instances we have sandwich boards, dress rails on wheels, boxes and other varied items blocking the aisles.

These are hazards and cause difficulties for shoppers, disabled people in wheelchairs and parents with prams. Please give us back the full width of the shopping aisles.
