EAST LANCS: Detectives are investigating whether an Asian woman whose body was found on the beach near Fleetwood is from East Lancashire.
The body was found opposite Rossall school on Monday.
A post-mortem examination revealed she drowned and police are not treating the death as suspicious.
She was between 18 and 22 years old, 5ft 3ins tall, slim with black, wavy hair and was wearing a blue-roll neck jumper, black 2 eXtreme jeans, and size four Polyflex shoes, knee-length leggings and a navy blue short sleeve T-shirt by Lopez Collection.
She also wore a pair of distinctive silver earrings with a black inset, and carried a "Sports" panic alarm
A scar shows she may have had some sort of lung operation.
