CORONATION Street star Tracey Barlow put her best foot forward on Saturday - for charity.

Actress Dawn Acton, who stars in the nation's favourite soap, joined dozens of sponsored walkers at Cavendish Street Day Nursery in Leigh, to raise cash for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death (FSID).

The event was organised by Lynda Myers, whose granddaughter Ellise Martin tragically fell victim to cot death two years ago.
