THE electorate has spoken and Castle ward now has three new councillors. We congratulate our opponents on their victory. We also wish to thank the thousands of voters in the ward, our friends and supporters, who have backed us for the best part of two decades, in particular those voters who remained loyal to us and the Labour party last Thursday. The Labour party is still your party and we promise you we will not abandon Castle ward. We will be back.
