WELL done the Citizen and well done Citizen Smith for reflecting and publicising the views of the ordinary man and woman in the street whom local politicians, especially the outgoing Labour group, ignored, as we have seen, it was to their cost.
I have lived all my life in Lancaster where local people are fairly laid back - it takes a lot to get them wound up but once they are you'd better watch out - they've voted with their feet this time and they will again.
The town hall has not been accountable for years and now it should be - once again well done.
